Ingredients
1 cup Oyster Creek Dried Wild mushrooms Mix
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cloves garlic, roasted or sautéed
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)
1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped
Salt & black pepper to taste
Splash of reserved mushroom soaking liquid
Instructions
Rehydrate the Mushrooms
Soak dried mushrooms in warm water for 20–30 minutes.
Drain, reserve the soaking liquid, and chop mushrooms.
Build the Flavor
In a skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and chopped mushrooms. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until fragrant.
Blend the Base
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream (or yogurt), and Parmesan.
Bring It Together
Fold in the mushroom mixture. Add a splash of the soaking liquid for extra depth.
Season & Finish
Stir in herbs, salt, and pepper. Adjust to taste.
